KIRINYAGA TVET TO BE REGISTERED
Kirinyaga Agricultural Technical and Vocational Education Training Centre is set to be registered and accredited to offer agricultural related Certificate and Diploma courses.
This follows enactment of the Kirinyaga County Agricultural Technical, Vocational Education and Training Act 2023 by Kirinyaga County Governor Anne Waiguru.
Governor Waiguru said through the law residents in Kirinyaga County will now have access to facilities for research trials, bulking/ multiplication sites on relevant technologies hence promoting the agribusiness sector in the region.
