PARTNERSHIPS TO STRENGTHEN TVET SYSTEMS
Kenya is exploring partnership with a South African company to advance and strengthen TVET systems in the country.
Kenya’s Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu met with the management of Guma group of companies led by the chairman Robert Gumede in Nairobi.
Deliberations centred around how TVET systems can be improved to facilitate hands-on training that prepares students for the job market as well as enhancing acquisition of market driven skills.
Guma group of companies is involved in a number of sectors including Information Communications Technologies, Water & Sanitation, Tourism, Construction & Engineering, Mining, Transport & products Logistics, and Property & Retail Development.
