REGISTERED AND LICENSED TVET INSTITUTIONS IN KENYA

There are 2287 registered and licensed public and private TVET institutions in Kenya. This is according to the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA).

Institutions seeking accreditation can apply online through the TVET MIS portal https://mis.tveta.go.ke/ and entails among others:

·        Issuance of letter of no objection (for private institutions)

·        Application for registration of business name with the Registrar of Companies (for private institutions)

·        Creation (sign-up) of an institutional account in the MIS portal and filling of the online form

·        Payment of the requisite fee

·        Acknowledgment

·        Inspection by TVETA

·        Registration and Licensing
